King Krule {Dum Surfer}
King Krule has returned once again with a video from his upcoming album The Ooz. The new track 'Dum Surfer' follows 'Czech One,' making the two tracks the artists only releases under the moniker King Krule since 2013's 6 Feet Beneath the Moon.
Archy Marshall began recording music in 2010 under the name Zoo Kid. The following year he adopted the moniker King Krule. He has released several EPs, and his debut full-length album, 6 Feet Beneath the Moon, came out to positive reviews. His music blends elements of punk jazz with hip hop, darkwave and trip hop, and is such difficult to define in terms of genre.
The video features a band performing in a dingy club, complete with guitars and saxaphones. Macabre visuals and Marshal's signature ruthless delivery make for an interesting video that embodies the dark and weirder aspects of King Krule's music.
The Ooz is out October 13 on XL Recordings / True Panther. For more info visit his website.
